Series III. Research and Project Files, 1986-2003

Scope and Contents

Dorothy A. Leonard conducted extensive research into companies, industries, and countries. This research informed her publications including case studies, as well as her teaching. Leonard also maintained relationships with corporate clients in which the research would inform customized executive education courses and a consulting role for the company. Material includes case studies (sometimes annotated by hand), news and magazine clippings, handwritten notes, memoranda, correspondence, interview transcripts, literature review results, company promotional material, user surveys, developer surveys, questionnaires, coding sheets, and datasets.

This series also contains digital content much of which is data collected from software and technology surveys at various companies.

Files in this series are grouped by company name, industry, country, or project title and arranged alphabetically by groupings, with original order maintained within groupings. Project files for cross-company software and technology studies shared among Leonard and her research assistants are grouped at the end of this series.
