Scope and Contents
The French & Greeley records include a journal and a ledger kept from 1834-1838 by the Bangor, Maine wholesale merchant firm. The journal contains entries for sales of flour, corn, rum, groceries, dry goods, hardware, and lumber accounts. There are also entries for sawing and rafting lumber from Union Mills. The ledger contains accounts listed by customer.
