Biographical / Historical

Patrick R. Liles (1937-1983) was Associate Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and was a member of the faculty from 1966 to 1977. He helped establish “Starting New Ventures” which he taught from 1969 to 1977. By the time he left HBS to enter the venture capital field, the course was one of the school's most popular electives.
