Monthly reports of the Androscoggin and Kennebec Railway Co. (1919-1927); time book for the Cheshire Railroad, Keene, N.H. (1891-1896); account book of Passumpsic River Railroad, N.H. (1877); by-laws and reports of the Portland and Rumford Falls Railway (1893-1898); freight record of the Rutland and Washington Railroad (1858-1860); and payroll book of York and Cumberland Railroad, Maine (1857).
There are also records of railroad cases in Vermont from Judge John Prout (1848-1858).

Biographical / Historical
This artificial collection of records pertaining to railroads in New England and New York was created as part of a grant project to make collections available via the Harvard Library catalog, HOLLIS. In an effort to make these individual collections more discoverable this guide was created with descriptions taken from Manuscripts in Baker Library (4th ed., 1978) and local finding aids housed in the Special Collections reading room.
