George Curtiss (cc: Library), New York, Nancy Conarroe, undated Digital
Scope and Contents
John Diebold is interviewed by Andy Barrie, CFRB Radio, in Toronto (Diebold was in town as part of a yearlong celebration of his firm’s 25th anniversary) talking about the past and future of automation. Diebold raises questions about how do you communicate information? How to you distribute information in society? Makes prediction that one of the great industries in the future is going to the convergence of communications and of computer-based systems (i.e., combination of television, of phone systems, and computer-based systems) and the consumer.
