Scope and Contents
Side 1: Lowell Thomas introduces John Goss, President of Scovill. Goss accepts the flag on behalf of the company and speaks about what it means to receive the flag. He praises the management and employees of Scovill and recounts how Scovill has supported each war effort during its history, and the loyalty of the employees to the country. He encourages employees to to even better in the future. Side 2: Lowell Thomas introduces Commander Hunter who presents the Army Navy E pin to each employee. Hunter describes why the Scovill employees are receiving the award and then specifically presents these "symbols of merit" to employees who have 50 or more years of service to the company.
