Scope and Contents
Fragments of unidentified documents and letters, dated before 1800. Leaf referencing General William Maxwell (1733-1796) of the Continental Army, 1777, and a memo of letters copied; paper possibly used as a wrapper for letters "From Gen. Washington to Gen. Arnold" and "Letters received from G. Washington" written in two hands; label created from a scrap of a letter dated New York 1783.
