Contains accounts, invoices, and receipts of Brown & Thorndike, dated 1781-1788. Included are receipts and accounts to Captain Isaac Randall and Thorndike related to outfitting the privateer ship Scourge; and an account current to Brown & Thorndike for the privateer ship Mohawk's second cruise in 1782. There is also an insurance policy of Brown & Thorndike for their ship Swallow and her cargo for a voyage to the West Indies.
