Scope and Contents
Contains invoices, receipts, accounts, and orders to William Pepperrell and other merchants, dated 1733-1738. Included is an unsigned letter to Pepperrell about the Royal Navy Board's solicitation of contracts for masts and possible proposal by Boston merchant Charles Apthorp to provide them, a deed of land in Maine from William and Mary Pepperrell to Daniel Jones, and correspondence to Christopher Hake & Co. of Lisbon, Portugal, regarding recovery of Pepperrell's money and timber trade in that city. There is also an account of sales of lumber shipped on the sloop Success to Newfoundland
