Contains original and copied correspondence, deeds, and notes, dated 1792-1797, regarding settlement of the debt of merchant and mill owner Samuel Nasson (or Nason) of Sanford, Maine, and tanner Nicholas Sewall, of York, to Samuel Abbot. Later letters relate to transfer by Abbot of Sewall’s discharged mortgage to Barsham Allen.
