Scope and Contents
Contains correspondence and financial records of John Burleigh and George Frost, dated 1771-1799. Includes a receipt from Samuel Smith to Burleigh for timber off Smith's farm; a bill from Mark Walker to Frost for transporting and surveying boards; receipt from Edward Cutts to Frost for rum, to be paid with merchantable boards; and an order on Frost by Philip Fowler. There is a letter to Burleigh from Joseph Rindge about a lawsuit against him, and letters to Frost from Isaac Waldron regarding purchase of Frost's ashes, and from William Smith and John Turnbull concerning settlement of accounts.
