Daybook of general store sales and mill accounts of George Frost, Sr., dated December 3, 1776, to May 23, 1796, in Durham. Commodities he traded include fish, molasses, pork, veal, and lumber. He also charged various people for use of his mill, and there are entries related to his work as a Justice of the Court of Commons Pleas. Names in the volume include Zebulon Dow, Philip Durgin, Job Savage, Hopley Yeaton, Bartholomy Smart, John Footman, Dr. Nathaniel Kidder, Michael Wentworth, Joseph Zinner, Bradbury Jewel, Vinson Torr, Jonathan Roberson, the town of Durham, Frost's granddaughter Mary Mead, Jacob Sheafe, and James Cram.
