Improving Work Methods, undated Digital
Scope and Contents
This film is a series of short features consisting of workers doing tasks and then improving them with small changes, with two lessons at the end: that it is possible to realize substantial savings with simple improvements and that additional improvements are possible through study. The work shown is a woman assembling printed sheets, a workman picking up castings from a pile on the floor to inspect for cracks, a clerk removing and returning trays of cards to file, a woman typing addresses on envelopes, a factory worker sorting and sandblasting used files, a woman putting rings onto paper, and a woman putting labels onto binders.
