This series contains the papers of George F. Baker, Sr and is divided into seven subseries. The subseries include personal papers, Pujo committee records, death and estate records, biography material, First National Bank of New York records, visual materials and objects. The material consists of personal and professional correspondence with family, politicians and business associates; scrap books and newspaper clippings pertaining to Baker's death and estate; his testimony in front of the Pujo Committee; records, correspondence and material related to George F. Baker's role with the First National Bank of New York; and material related to a biography written by Albert Paine.
