Contains accounts current of Samuel Coates with merchants Thomas & William Stiles, an invoice for maintenance and repair of the ship Rebecca, a valuation of cargo, including muslin and linen, shipped on the vessel Rebecca from Antwerp, Belgium, to Philadelphia, and invoices related to shipments of beef, nails, and other commodities. There is also an inventory of parts of the ship William P. Johnson for sale.
