Biography

Francis Alexander Baker (1907-1966) was born in Brockton, Massachusetts. He was a tree surgeon who worked for Dumbarton Oaks in the 1940s. He married Rebecca Vinson Heffner in 1933, and they lived on Porter Street in Washington, D.C. in the 1940s. They had a daughter, Anna who was born approximaely 1937. He is buried with his wife in Danestown Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Darnestown, Maryland.
