Biography
Margaret Iselin Henderson Bailie (1895-1976) was born to Edward Cairns Henderson and his wife, . She married Earle Bailie (1890-1940), a banker in 1923 and had two daughters, Susanna Trautman and Joanna Gunderson and a son, David Bailie. She was a landscape architect and worked for Beatrix Farrand in the 1920s and early 1930s. She is buried with him in Hillside Cemetery, Wilton, Connecticut.

Handwritten letter from Helen Van Pelt Wilson to Mildred Bliss tells her she has already spent many happy contemplative hours in Mildred's gardens. Yet, Margaret Baillie who is advising Wilson on her garden tells her she has missed the outdoor theater, so that must be seen on Wilson's next visit.
