Biography

Alfred M.S. Pridham was born on August 12, 1902. He was a horticulturalist and Professor at Cornell University. He retired from Cornell in 1967 after 42 years of service at which time he was appointed professor emeritus. He died April 20, 1978.

Scope and Contents: Exchange of typescript letters between Ralph W. Curtis of Agricultural Experiment Station at Cornell University and Robert and Mildred Bliss asks if he can bring a group of students to Dumbarton Oaks. A copy of the letter was sent to James Bryce, the Dumbarton Oaks Garden Superintendent in case the Blisses absence. The Blisses secretary offers an approved date. Curtis send a follow-on letter with a need to change the visit date offered by the Blisses, and the date change was approved. Alfred...
