Wife of Louis Philippe Eugene Laurent, a physician and politcian who was born in Mauritius and lived in London. She died in 1956 of Myasthenia Gravis. Her father was C.H. (Charles Henry) Collins Baker, an artist and art historian who was in residence at the Huntington Library and Art Museum.
