Biography

Elizabeth Cornelia Hall was born in 1898 and became head librarian at the New York Botanical Garden in 1937. She had a 30 year career at the New York Botanical Garden retiring in 1967. She died in 1989. Her papers are held at the Mertz Library at the New York Botanical Garden.

Typescript letter between Barbara Hoskins at the New York Botanical Garden Library and Anne Sweeney about possible missing copies of the Addisonia subscription. She asks Anne Sweeney to submit a letter with Mildred Bliss's signature asking that future publications are to be sent to her at Dumbarton Oaks rather than Mildred Bliss' Georgetown residence.
