Edith Marian Newlands Johnston was born in San Francisco, California in 1876 and died in Washington, D.C. in 1965. She is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Washington, D.C., Rock Creek Lots 707-708. She married Charles Haven Ladd Johnston (1878-1943) from 1903-1915. They had one son and one daugher.
