Anne Gates Miller was born in Colorado in 1875 and died in Washington, D.C. in 1956. She was buried in Rock Creek Cemetery, Washington, D.C. Section: 4, Lot: 37, Grave: 2 with her husband Gerrit Smith Miller, Jr. (1869-1956), a mammologist who worked as Assistant Curator for the Division of Mammals, U.S. National Museum.
