Scope and Contents:
This folder contains three unbound manuscripts: The first is a receipt for $2.00 in shares of the Boston bank, 1803; the second is a transfer of money at a meeting of the board of investment for the Provident Institution of Savings in the town of Boston by James Bowdoin, secretary, 1824; and finally a bill introduced in 1888 in the State of New Jersey for banks to pay an annual tax on their deposits, 1888.
