Scope and Contents: Chiefly records of a general store in Freetown, Mass. operated by Job and Ebenezer Peirce. The collection consists of ten daybooks and four ledgers. Unfortunately the books for the years 1830-1847 are missing. The accounts show that the business interests of the Peirce family were exceedingly diverse.
