Includes photographs, scrapbooks, memorabilia, and notes assembled for the 1992 exhibition and publication. Much of this material came from Houghton Librarian William H. Bond and librarian Carolyn Jakeman. Jakeman was the source of the scrapbooks.
John F. McCarthy collection of material concerning John Ruskin
Letter from Ruskin to Charles Eliot Norton of 1871; two photographs of Ruskin with facsimile signatures; a picture postcard (1987) of Ruskin from one of McCarthy's students at Boston College; and pressed flowers from the Garden of Gethsemane (Jerusalem) addressed to Ruskin, possibly from the student.
