Bruce Willard Forbes (1921-2016) attended the University of Michigan, receiving his AB in French in 1942; in 1943, Forbes earned his MA from Harvard University. Forbes later entered the ministry and spent the next five decades as a priest at St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City.
