The collection primarily consists of classroom and professional project material related to legal theory, including: jurisprudence, tort law, advanced civil procedure, complex enforcement, liberal law, and critical practice. The collection also includes correspondence from 1975-2012.
Overview: Includes material pertaining to Pound's participation in the Boston and Cleveland crime surveys (1920's), as a member of the National Commission on Law Observance and Enforcement or Wickersham Commission (1929-1931), as a member of the American Bar Association and with various Masonic chapters, and as advisor to the Ministry of Justice in Nanking, China (1940's). Also two typed, bound journals recounting camping trips in West Virginia and to Civil War battlefields (1898, 1912-1917).
