The James Vorenberg Papers encompass Vorenberg's career as both an educator and a public servant. Most of the collection reflects his time at Harvard as both Law School Dean and Professor. His government work is evidenced by records from the Massachusetts State Ethics Commission and the Watergate files.
This collection documents the professional career of Lloyd Weinreb. The collection includes correspondence, case notes, writings, readings, and teaching and administrative materials.
Includes material pertaining to Pound's participation in the Boston and Cleveland crime surveys (1920's), as a member of the National Commission on Law Observance and Enforcement or Wickersham Commission (1929-1931), as a member of the American Bar Association and with various Masonic chapters, and as advisor to the Ministry of Justice in Nanking, China (1940's). Also two typed, bound journals recounting camping trips in West Virginia and to Civil War battlefields (1898, 1912-1917).
