Thomas T. Winant collection of Harvard postcards

Overview: Collection of 231 postcards, collected by Thomas T. Winant, chiefly depicting exteriors of Harvard and Radcliffe buildings, as well as Harvard landmarks, Cambridge views, and Harvard's graduate schools. Most of the postcards are blank, but some were mailed and contain writing. Postmarks for the latter suggest that the bulk dates from 1904 to 1908; however, there are about 20 postcards that are probably from the 1990s.

The Catalogues represent Harvard’s first efforts to comprehensively document its graduates and were considered the official record of degree recipients. This collection contains Triennial Catalogues published during the 17th and 18th centuries. Annotated Triennial Catalogues are cataloged separately.
