This album contains photographs, taken during Vivian Kistler's college years, 1917-1921, of students and student life in the Radcliffe Yard and Radcliffe dormitories, athletics, outings to Silver Bay, the war bond parade, and college theater.

BIOGRAPHY

Vivian Kistler was born in Buffalo, New York. She received her A.B. in 1921 from Radcliffe and her A.M. in Education in 1927. She taught English in Goffstown High School, New Hampshire (1921-1926) and in Malden High School (1927-1964). She was active in the Massachusetts Audubon Society and the Appalachian Mountain Club.

This photograph album was given to the Radcliffe College Archives in October 1986 by Eleanor Porritt, sister of Ruth Porritt, Radcliffe College Librarian, who was housemate of Vivian Esther Kistler.
