Copyright. Connie Field retains copyright in the collection for fifty years or until her death, whichever comes first, at which time copyright will be transferred to the President and Fellows of Harvard College for the Schlesinger Library. As long as Connie Field retains copyright, researchers may not publish, perform, or broadcast quotations without her written permission.
Copying. The Schlesinger Library may make copies of the materials for use in other libraries or for the use of individual researchers.

23 videotapesThis collection includes videotaped interviews which served as research material for the final production of the filmThe Life and Times of Rosie the Riveter. These interviews are all on 1/2 inch videotape, in black and white. Dates are given if known. There is intermittent static through almost all the tapes, and most are grainy.
HISTORY
The motion picture The Life and Times of Rosie the Riveter was produced in about 1980 by Connie Field and Clarity Educational Productions. It consists of interviews with women who did war work during World War II. More than half of the interviewees in these videotapes are African American, including Frances Albrier, who also appears in the Schlesinger Library's Black Women Oral History Project. Only five "Rosies" appear in the final production: Lola Weixel, Margaret Wright, Lyn Childs, Gladys Belcher, and Wanita Allen.

The outtakes for The Life and Times of Rosie the Riveter were given to the Schlesinger Library in July 1989 by Connie Field and Clarity Productions.
