This collection consists primarily of the professional correspondence and papers of Elinore Morehouse Herrick for the years 1934-1942 during which she was Regional Director of the National Labor Relations Board in the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut area, and for the years 1942-1945 during which she was Director of Personnel and Labor Relations for Todd Shipyards, Corp.; and her speeches, articles, book reviews, and editorials.

BIOGRAPHY

In 1945, Elinore Morehouse Herrick became Director of Personnel and a member of the editorial staff of the New York Herald Tribune; she also handled several labor contract negotiations.
