HISTORY
The Bedford-Lexington Area Branch of the American Association of University Women was founded in 1962 to "unite graduates of regionally accredited educational institutions in order to promote equity, education, intellectual growth, individual worth, and development of opportunities for women and girls." The branch disbanded in June 2018.
