Diary of M.L. Sullivan, 1888
Scope and Contents
The collection contains a diary describing M.L. Sullivan's sea voyage (including bouts of seasickness and an account of the inspection of luggage by customs officials in Ireland) and travels in Ireland and England, and on the Continent, June 1 - September 28, 1888. She describes the weather, sights seen (including Blarney Castle in Ireland and Caernarfon Castle in Wales), and also reports having her first (and she notes, hopefully her last) drink of goats' milk.
