This collection consists of materials compiled by Kristin Powell on the history of Radcliffe College Athletics. It includes clippings from the Radcliffe Quarterly, the Radcliffe News, yearbooks, and interviews with alumnae athletes. Also included are reports from athletic departments. The material is arranged by decade, and includes separate folders on the more significant athletes. All material is arranged chronologically.

Powell conducted nine interviews about Radcliffe College athletics for her project. Interviewees include John Baker (crew coach), Pat Miller (Associate Director of Harvard Athletics), Joe Bertagna (Varsity Club Director), Jack Reardon, (Harvard Director of Athletics), Pippy Rooney O'Conner (field hockey coach), Nikki Janus (administrator), Leslie Greis (professional golfer), and Alice McCabe (swim coach). Transcripts from a few of these interviews are in folder #27. The audiotapes are listed and described in the Radcliffe College Archives Sound Recordings Collection (RG XX, Series VIII).
