Biographical / Historical
Araldo Alfred Cossutta (1925-2017) was an associate, and ultimately a partner architect at I.M. Pei and Partners, where he worked for seventeen years. In 1973, he and Vincent Ponte left the firm to form Cossutta and Ponte Planners, which ultimately became Cossutta and Associates. He studied at the University of Belgrade, the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France, and Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
