Series Note

This series relates to various aspects of JMM's involvement in the field of taxation: (a) tax organizations to which he belonged; (b) tax institutes in which he participated; and subject materials which he collected and annotated for use in his courses and writings on taxation.

Files are arranged in alphabetical order. They contain some printed material such as announcements of institutes, revisions of tax statutes, pages taken from federal reports. There is a small amount of correspondence. Items date mainly from the late 1940's to the early 1960's.
