Series Note

Correspondence is arranged alphabetically by countries. It consists mainly of exchanges between Gluecks and their professional counterparts abroad who were (or still are) engaged in research similar to the Gluecks.

Folders include a certain amount of non-professional material such as postcards from friends who attended international congresses in which the Gluecks did not participate, and photos; also corr. re arrangements for meetings at which the Gluecks received special honors or awards, or at which they read papers. There is a large group of papers relating to their trip to Japan in 1960, arrangements before and during the trip, lecture schedules, and publication matters regarding ETG's diary of this trip.

Period covered in this Series is mainly the late 1950's and the 1960's.
