On June 13, 1961 Governor Volpe of Massachusetts appointed a committee, with AES as chairman, to study and make recommendations concerning the Sunday Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This Series contains correspondence from numerous organizations and individuals, research material, notes, drafts and final copies of the report to the Governor. The report includes both minority and majority recommendations for changing the relevant statutes. AES signed the minority version which recommended more extensive amendments than did the majority draft.
