General note
Series Note
Series consists of JMM's comments to students on their individual papers which they submitted in his taxation seminars at the Harvard Law School. In most instances the actual manuscript of the paper is not included. Comments are in form of typed letters addressed to students [JMM kept his carbons]. Folders also contain lists of papers submitted, with names of students, classification of topics. Arrangement is chronological by academic year, and roughly alphabetical by name of addressee within each school year.
