This group generally includes ongoing series of records pertaining to day-to-day operations of the Harvard College Library, such as job applications, charging records, shelf lists, and bills. As these records presumably contain bills for the purchase of books, the history of the Harvard College Library Order Department may be of interest (see Related Materials).
