Letter of John Leverett to his wife Margaret, 1707. This letter is owned by Harvard's Leverett House and is framed and on display in the house library. Leverett wrote this letter during the unsuccessful expedition to Port Royal. Leverett was one of three Commissioners appointed to counsel the commanding officer. Published in Publications of The Colonial Society of Massachusetts, vol. 49, pp. 219-220.
