Visual materials, [circa 1914-1940s]

Scope and Contents

This series contains panoramic photographs, lantern slides, portraits, photographs and a photograph album. The panoramic photographs document Morize’s colleagues and students at the Middlebury College French Summer School during the 1920s and 1930s. The photographs also include portraits of Morize and his wife, Ruth. An album documents France’s devastation following World War I. The lantern slides show scenes of towns and cities across France and were presumably used by Morize for teaching purposes.
