Scope and Contents

Significant correspondents include the Republican National Committee, the Elks (I.B.P.O.E.W.), the Lincoln League, and civic associations and fraternal organizations in which Simmons played an active role. Many of the letters are speaking invitations.

Most correspondence from law firms represents the efforts of various parties to collect on money owed.
