Bridget Usher (died May 25, 1723) was the widow of Boston merchant Hezekiah Usher Jr. (died 1697) and had previously been the wife of Leonard Hoar, the third president of Harvard, until his death in 1675.

Samuel Sewall (1652-1730; Harvard AB 1671) was a Massachusetts magistrate, legislator, and diarist. He served on the Governor's Council from 1683 to 1725 and was a Harvard Overseer.

William Welsteed (1666-1729) was a prominent Boston merchant. His son William Welsteed was a member of the Harvard Class of 1716.
