Sermon 2 was donated by Susanna and Theodora Willard in 1910. It is unclear whether or not the Willards donated the other sermons to the Archives in 1910, as well.
Processing Information
The custodial history of these sermons is unclear. Although each item is numbered, it is impossible to determine with any clarity whether the numbering system was originally designed by Joseph Willard or imposed by one of his descendants. The archivist maintained the numerical (and chronological) arrangement scheme.
The sermon titles listed below were taken from the title pages of each sermon or from the introductory paragraphs at the beginning of each sermon. It is important to note that the titles written on the title pages may have been written at a later date by one of Willard's descendants.
