Biographical / Historical

Father Michael J. Gillgannon is a Catholic priest of the diocese of Kansas City – St. Joseph, Missouri, United States. He was ordained in 1958 and has since served in various parishes. He served in La Paz, Bolivia as a missionary from 1974-2012. Gillgannon was a parish priest with the native Amarya people from 1974-1994. In 1994 at the State University of La Paz, Bolivia, Gillgannon co-founded the Campus Ministry.
