This series, along with the letters in bMS Am 1541 (36-276), is one of the most continuous correspondence sequences relating to Roosevelt's presidential and post-presidential career. Collection also includes other letters to and from Theodore Roosevelt.

Theodore Roosevelt was the twenty-sixth president of the United States.
Kermit Roosevelt (1889-1943) was the second son of Theodore Roosevelt and Edith Kermit (Carow) Roosevelt.
