Biographical / Historical
Opera Boston was a Boston (Mass.) opera company presenting "new productions of innovative repertoire and rarely-heard works" in performances held at the Cutler Majestic Theatre. The company was founded in 2003 as the successor to the Boston Academy of Music (founded in 1980 by baritone Richard Conrad). It ceased operations in December 2011.
