Extent
1.5 linear feet (3 boxes)Photographs of real sets and of set design drawings and other depictions. The majority are for dramatic or musical theatrical productions, but also include ballet, opera, and film. A few photographs also depict costume designs and members of the cast.
Biographical / Historical
Theatre Arts Magazine (1916-1923), Theatre Arts Monthly (1924- October 1939), and Theatre Arts (November 1939-1964) were classic serial publications containing in-depth coverage of every aspect of the theatre world.
